[15-17 dec 2007] I was missing cold weather, and needed to use up some Asia Miles... so i dragged Ste on a weekend trip to Hong Kong! I haven't been to HK since I was 14 (save for a stopover at the HK airport a few years ago) -- HK has changed so much since then!
I loved... the Space Mountain, Mickey's Philharmagic, and the Jungle River Cruise rides at Disneyland, shopping until 1am, the HK skyline from the Avenue of the Stars and the Star Ferry, roast duck, and the bus ride to Victoria Peak (the view is actually better than the Peak Tram).
I brought home... a Mickey Mouse tee, boxes of Melty Kiss, a hat, and a new travel bag!
I stayed at... B P International Hotel in the Tsim Sha Tsui area in Kowloon. Good location, good budget hotel -- right next to the Kowloon Park, a 5 minute walk to Nathan Road, and a block away from the Jordan MTR station.
